I respect their relationship, and as a legend in the field of ballet dancing I adore Nureyev; but, he was gay!!! this is a different kind of love!... :)

The absolute grand master. What a blessing he was to the world. When leaving Russia he brought to the West his very special talent......Russian Ballet. He was everything a grand master can be. Talented, committed, romantic, graceful, patient and wise. You shall never be forgotten because you shared your talent with the world and the world is truly thankful that you were such a caring and thoughtful person.
The dance lives on and I and anyone else who has dance ballet will always be thankful for you inspiration. You had a grand life and you truly took our breath away when you soared through the air effortlessly. You amazed us all!!!! Bravo. Hugs. EB

Keiner hat das so getanzt wie Rudolf Nurejev - er ist unerreichbar - der beste Tänzer bisher und Margot Fonteyn war eine Elfe wunderbar wunderbar wunderbar

Thank you for your tribute to Nureyev and Dame Margot. I like the opening dance from Le Corsaire by Berlioz. It's a study in music of Lord Byron's poem The Corsaire (Pirate). The English National Ballet's performance a couple of years ago was described as a "must see" for it had, I think, a cheeky nod to one Captain Jack Sparrow. I look forward to your other you tube offerings.

RUDOLPH NUREYEV WAS SO GREAT WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE SUCH A HORRIBLE DEATH. I KNOW I WAS GOING TO A DANCE SUDIO IN MANHATTAN AND ALL THE GREAT DANCERS WERE ALSO DROPPING FROM AIDS. IT WAS SO DIFFICULT FOR ME TO TAKE. IT WAS HORRIBLE. AND THEN RUDOLPH NUREYEV WE MISS YOU. I LOVE YOU , YOU WERE GREAT.

"O body swayed to music, O brightening glance,
How can we know the dancer from the dance?"
Thank you for creating this tribute to the magic these two incomparable artists made every time they graced the stage together.
